Whether you are a painter, a writer, a conversationalist, a mixologist, a chef, or an artist yet to be defined, no experience is requires in order to participate. Art supplies will be available.

The Kent Emporium is a place to relax and unwind so that you can discover and/or rediscover your passion. At the Kent Emporium you will feel at home away from home. Our community of people share the same beliefs…inspiration is the first step towards discovering your passion. Come in, grab a cocktail and a snack, get inspired and discover your passion!

COMMUNITY.CONNECTION.CELEBRATION

Autumn Harvest Party

Time:  6:30pm – 10:00pm
When:  November 5, 2016

A night of no plans beyond appetizers, desserts, beverages, music (Mr. Ed), and fire.  A night of conversations as we celebrate the space in-between endings and beginnings.  A celebration of what we harvested this year.  A celebration of both what we want to take forward with us and what we want to leave behind.

What do you need to bring?  Your authentic self. Your stories. Your trust.

SUMMER 2016:

KENT EMPORIUM OPEN HOUSE

When:  Saturday August 27, 2016

Why:  Why not? Showcase local talent

Time:  5:00pm – 9:30pm

Cost:  Donation

Stop by and check out what is going on at the Kent Emporium. The event will be outside if the weather is nice, so bring your lawn chairs and BYOB. If it is raining or cold, the event will be held inside.

Food & Music:  5:00pm – 8:00pm

  • Food:  Dave Abel, Take It Or Leave It Food Truck, will be serving food samples.
  • Music:  Mike Kelly will be singing and playing his guitar.

Ceremonial Fire:  8:00pm – 9:30pm

Join us as we sit, tell stories and hold sacred space around a ceremonial fire outdoors.  Bring something to sit on, drum, rattle, musical instrument, song, music, and thoughts to share.

Fall is definitely in the air!  After taking the summer off to dream and scheme, I had a sudden urge this past weekend to create a store front window at the Kent Emporium.

RE-VITALIZE YOURSELF

Sunday January 18th: 2:00pm – 5:00pm

$20 Per Person (register in advance)

Re-vitalize Yourself is a gathering of kindred spirits who will share stories, nurturing food, inspiring beverages, and creative exercises. We’ll talk, laugh and discover magic, all in the service of re-vitalizing ourselves and waking up to our intuition so we hear what is calling.

WORD OF THE YEAR – Saturday January 3rd

Instead of setting New Years Resolutions, words where chosen. Each person chose a word to live with in 2015 and then painted the word on a rock as an reminder.

COMMUNITY FIRE CEREMONY – Saturday January 3rd

The tribe celebrated the New Year with a community fire ceremony. As part of the fire ceremony, we burned the Community Wish Tree as we released those things that no longer served us in order to make room for our wishes in 2015.

The tribe celebrated Thanksgiving morning together. All food donations were delievered to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
