Catching A Dream

“Don’t let someone else catch your dreams. You be the DreamCatcher!” ~Unknown

I had the funniest dream this morning. I was dreaming that I was with 2 other people and we went to see Colette Baron Reid do Psychic readings. Outside of the conference area, Colette came up to us and said “I want to talk to each of you individually before I go”. As she started to do a reading for one of my companions, I wondered off. When I returned to find her, she said “I only have a few minutes to talk to you before I leave. I called you 25 times to speak to you but you never picked up the phone!”. I looked at my phone and sure enough, she called 25 times and all I could say was “Sorry, I must have had my phone on mute”. She then proceeded to be quick and to the point and I received my message. I woke up and laughed because…

There was an actual real live message in that dream.

How do I know there was a real live message? Over the years of learning to catch my own dreams, I have learned to establish one very firm boundary with random spirits that show up while I sleep. My rule of thumb with spirits…If you want to me to talk to you and/or help you, you must call me via a phone in my dreams.

OMG – she tired calling me 25 times! I had my phone on mute.

This is one of my favorite stall tactics…avoidance takes center stage.

Yes, in real life I know that I have been avoiding doing something for the past 3 months.

The one sentence message from Colette…

Move forward with offering your classes, workshops, and retreats in your own creative way!

OK – so I have received the message loud and clear! The dream pointed out that I have been waffling and just need to move forward with creating more workshops at the Kent Emporium. And yes, I have decided to submit an application to Freeport Fish Tank (a competition for entrepreneurs who want to open or expand businesses in Stephenson County) next week for the Kent Emporium. Isn’t it fascinating how our dreams support us and provide us direction on how to resolve our own personal and professional problems in real life. If you would like to learn more about dream work and using dreams in every day life, please join me for my 1st Kent Emporium workshop offering (details below)…
